Hi Everyone! Happy Wednesday. Hope you are all having a great week so far. Today marks our last and final collaboration. The past six weeks sure went by quickly, and I had a lot of fun working with these ladies. Nonetheless, today's topic is on layering. Whether you're like Christine from The Fashion Pledge that is lucky enough to be able to wear skirts and shorts in December or like me, all bundled up in New York, I'm sure we can all use some tips on layering.

When surviving the colder seasons in New York, layering is key for me. My winter staples include a faux fur vest,a black Uniqlo Heattech long sleeve, and thick black tights. The ultimate game changer for me is the faux fur vest. The fur vest is a staple in my closet and can be worn through out Fall & Winter. During the Fall, I like to wear it as is or over a lightweight jacket. During the Winter, I do the opposite. I like to wear it layered underneath an oversized jacket and just cinch the waistline with a belt to avoid looking too bulky. Not only does the belt defines the waist, it also keeps the fur close to the body and traps in the body warmth. Here are some choices for a faux fur vest under $100 - black, brown, and grey.

Readers - how do you layer during the colder seasons? Please share some tips with me in the comments below, I would love to read how others are keeping warm.

Thank you so much for reading! :)
