Hi Everyone! Happy Wednesday! Today, we're back with another collaboration. This week's trend topic is mixing prints and patterns. Plaid, polka dots, stripes, windowpane, you name it, we've seen it. Prints and Patterns are a great way to spice up a rather basic outfit. For me, when I put together an outfit, I like to either mix colors, patterns, textures, or all of the above. For today's outfit, I decided to mix three patterns: camouflage, stripes, and windowpane, all of which are fall favorites. For texture, I mixed an oversized scarf with a ribbed knit sweater and suede pumps. Since there was so much going on with the patterns and texture, I decided to use black and white as the base of the outfit and just added a touch of olive green and mustard yellow.

I picked this scarf up along with a plaid scarf from Zara and I have to say, I was not disappointed. When unfolded, this scarf is large enough for me to use as a blanket, which I do use when I'm lounging around in the living room since it is also so soft and cozy. The colors of the scarf are so basic that it allows me to easily pair it with most of my outfits. I also love the touch of mustard yellow on one corner of the scarf. It's nothing special, yet something so simple can make such a big difference.
