Hi Everyone! Happy Monday! Today I wanted to share with you my newest additions, a black everyday tote and a cute fashionable tumbler.
Graphic Image, the mother company of GiGi New York, sent me their Union Square Tote to review two weeks ago. As mentioned on Instagram here, this tote carries my life in it and so much more. First impressions means a lot to me and I was highly impressed with the quality and craftsmanship of this bag. The stock photo of this bag on the Graphic Image website does not do this bag its' justice. I usually carry my Longchamp Le Pliage Large Tote as an everyday bag, but I prefer this bag over the Longchamp because it is fully lined. It does exactly what the Longchamp does, but a little more. It is made of nylon with saffiano leather trimming and a full zip closure (it seems to be waterproof!). On a regular basis, this bag carries my laptop and charger, a pair of heels to switch into at work, my wallet and phone wristlet, a mini notebook, cosmetic pouch, sunglasses case, and my new tumbler. The bag has one interior pocket to store loose items, one exterior pocket for easy access, and measures 14½" width x 11 ½" height x 6" depth .
I picked up this tumbler last week, and I've been using it everyday since. It's now the cup, my go-to cup, my coffee & tea cup, and everything else in between. This tumbler is from the Starbucks x Alice & Olivia collaboration, and I have to say, it's basically fashion meets coffee. Although my favorite drink from Starbucks is the Chocolate Chai Latte (so happy it's staying on the menu for good!), I'm really not much of a coffee drinker. When I do, I prefer making it myself. If I know I will need coffee the next morning (from lack of sleep), I usually make my coffee the night before and keep it in the fridge to drink the next morning. This gives me the satisfaction of iced coffee without watering my coffee down with ice cubes. On a side note, fun fact : I like to use my used coffee grinds to exfoliate. Trust me, it does wonders. It leaves my skin moisturized, soft, and glowing afterwards (and smelling like coffee all night long too!). Is anyone else on the same boat as me with using coffee grinds to exfoliate?
Thank you so much for reading! :)
