GiGi New York Burgundy Python & Floral Peplum

Hi Everyone! Hang in there, it's almost Friday! I didn't even realize that it was already October in my last post, but Happy October to all! I think it is safe to say that it is Fall already even though the weather may say otherwise. Aside from the Mustard Yellow Mini Satchel from the 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target Collaboration, I was also eyeing this top. I really liked the peplum cut and floral patterns of this top, the floral pattern reminded me of cherry blossoms.

Top : 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target (here, view entire collection here), Bottom : Express (here)
Shoes : Steve Madden (similar here), Wristlet : c/o GiGi New York (here)
Belt : Banana Republic (here)

When I received this Burgundy Wristlet Phone Wallet from GiGi New York last week, my jaw dropped. Not only was the embossed python leather so detailed and soft, the burgundy color was just gorgeous. The wristlet is available in embossed python leather (emerald, indigo, magenta, and orange), gold deerskin, silver goatskin, and pebble grain (black and saddle). Burgundy is my favorite fall color, so it was a no-brainer that I chose burgundy for this wristlet. I also got my initials "CD" monogrammed on the front to match the gold hardware.

(Yes, my initials are CD. No, I'm not a compact disc.)

I love how this wristlet has 4 built-in credit card slots, a cell phone pocket in the middle, and two hidden pockets behind the credit card slots, one on each side. It's perfect for a girl on the go like me since the essentials that I carry around with me are my ID, Cash, Credit Card, and MetroCard to get around the city. I noticed that if you purchase a Wristlet Phone Wallet, you can also get an Embossed Python Hard-Shell Case (iPhone 5S/5 only), which also comes in a variety of colors, for free, monogram included.

Thank you so much for reading! :)

  3. Omg, I LOVE!!!! Your pictures are soooo amazing. I actually left a comment on your post yesterday but for some reason I think my internet is being funky so it didn't post :( Anyway, aside from also loving your last post (obsessed with the romper!), I'm even more blown away by your pictures in this post! I'm not sure who your photographer is but major props to him/her! <3 beautiful and they capture the city in such vibrant lighting! That wristlet is beautiful - the color is so perfect for Fall. I have a feeling you'll be getting some great use out of it. Sometimes I'm so over carrying purses haha so a wristlet is also my go-to "purse". I don't think I even saw that top when shopping for the P.Lim collection! You got some really great stuff! Happy almost Friday!! <3

  6. Christine, I love this look and especially peplum (which I always wear for all season) and the leather leggings (I need to get a few more since my current one's from Juicy couture look a little over worn. Your initials remind me of Christian Dior :)

  9. Love how you styled the top Christine! Totally agree with you about the cherry blossoms! I tried on the blouse version of this top but didn't like how it looked on me...especially cause it made me look super asian, haha! Didn't see the peplum top at the stores though. Definitely prefer it over the long-sleeved blouse, plus it looks fantastic on you!

  10. Gorgeous outfit Christine! You look ready to go for a night about town with the girls. I love the floral peplum top on you and unless I'm mistaken I think it's the same cut as the one Vicky got in black with the jeweled collar. I don't recall seeing it by the time I got in stores to peruse the collection. I also really love the rich color and details of your Gigi clutch and your iPhone case is equally stylish. I thought you linked to it but it took me to the python case on their website.

Loveee the wallet, Christine! The color is so gorgeous and perfect for Fall. It's funny that I got those exact same leggings last year but haven't worn them yet. They are kind of challenge to style. Thanks for the inspiration. I will have to "borrow" this look from you. =)

I've been eyeing Gigi New York for monogramming for a while now, but now your post totally seals the deal for me. I really love your wallet in that burgundy. It's totally the color for Fall! :) Fab look!
