Hi everyone! Hope everyone had a lovely weekend. This past weekend has been all but lovely for me, weather wise at least. We had a heat wave this weekend where we reached 97 degrees Fahrenheit. A week ago, I wished for warmer weather, but I never thought that we would have a 30 degrees difference in a matter of two days, and now we're having a thunderstorm as I'm writing this blog post, just a little bipolar over here on the east coast. When it finally cooled down a little, I went on a bubble tea date and picked my favorite Jasmine Green Tea in Chinatown. I'm not crazy over bubble tea, but it's something I wouldn't mind drinking, especially when it's blazing hot out, it's a good refresher. During those humid days with occasional breezes, I like to wear maxi skirts rather than shorts because I don't like it when my thighs get sticky and sweaty. Here, I paired this maxi skirt with a very light weight chambray shirt and belted at the waist. I matched the belt with my Zara cross-body and these Sam Edelman for American Eagle sandals that I picked up last year. These sandals are very comfortable and versatile, it definitely has gotten a lot of wear.
I finished off my outfit with some rings, and minimal arm wear and a plain necklace. During the hotter seasons, I prefer wearing dainty and lighter jewelry, less fuss and less sweat.
One thing I love about Spring is the ability to wear maxi skirts. I tend to look for maxi dresses/skirts made with a lighter material. This skirt is very light and airy, it kind of gives off a cooling effect which is perfect for the humid days. When wearing maxis, I like to belt them at the waist so it proportions out my body instead of having the skirt swallow me. Normally I wear heels with maxi skirts for the added height and the illusion of longer legs, but today I switched them out for sandals for a much more casual date.

I'm considering starting a YouTube channel for look book videos, pairing videos, and other stuff. What do you think about that, should I do it or no? If you have any requests or suggestions for me , leave them in the comments below, I read them all!
As always, thank you so much for reading! :)
