Hi everyone! Today I have a really simple pairing outfit for you. Here I am wearing a navy and creme striped blouse from Urban Outfitters and paired it with a wine colored blazer to give the upper body a more fitted look since my black slacks were on the looser end. I've been seeing so many stripes in stores lately that it triggered me to pull this blouse out from my hiding in my closet. This blouse is light and can easily be paired with slacks for work or even having the front tucked in a pair of destroyed skinny jeans for a city chic look. The color combination between the navy and creme sets a more conservative feel which is perfect for the office environment. Lastly, I grabbed my trusty Longchamp and was ready for work.
Is it just me or are stripes making a comeback this year? I love stripes, just as much as I love bows and polka dots. To me, stripes can do so much for your body. Vertical stripes can help visually elongate your torso while horizontal stripes can help accentuate your curves. Aside from that, stripes can also add dimension and modernize your look, or just add a little spice to a very simple outfit.
