Mixing Spots + Cropped Trench

Hi Everyone! Recently I purchased this cropped trench coat from Gap, and ever since I received it, I couldn't stop wearing it. I first saw this jacket on one of their Spring Collection posters before it was even available online. When it was, my heart skipped a beat to know that it was available in petites, but of course, Gap's petite collection sells out in a blink of an eye, and an XSP was sadly, sold out. I thought of ordering a regular XS, but I knew I would definitely swim in it so I passed. About a week later, during their 30% off promotion, I checked again in hopes that an XSP would be restocked. Luckily it was available so I checked out right away. I have to say, the picture displayed online is a lot darker than the actual product is in person. This jacket is a great alternative to a military jacket or denim jacket since it is more office friendly and can be worn during the Spring or even during those breezy Summer days.

Since the cropped trench coat was on the neutral end, I decided to wear this Ann Taylor draped top that I purchased at the Factory Outlet. The print on this top reminds me a little of a snow leopard, but nonetheless, I love how such a simple black and white top can be so bold at the same time. Lastly, I belted the skirt with an oxblood leopard belt to match with the top but still add a little hint of color to the outfit. This outfit is very simple and perfect when transitioning from Winter to Spring.
