Double Denim and Skulls

Happy Sunday Everyone! Today I decided to play with a little denim. I purchased this denim shirt from Uniqlo last year for ten dollars, it was such a steal! I wear this shirt all year round, layered during the Winter and Fall, by itself during the Spring and as an overcoat during those breezy Summer nights. It is so versatile and a great alternative to a denim jacket since it is lighter and thinner. Here I paired the denim shirt with white jeans for a brighter look.

I draped a white skull scarf underneath my collar to add more dimension to the outfit. I haven't really been particularly crazy over the skull trend, but when I spotted this lovely at Zara, I knew I had to get it. The skulls are subtle and girly, and I love how light this scarf is. It flows so well with the wind, they work wonders together. This look is great for the weekends and casual brunch.

How would you style the skull trend into your outfit?

Thank you so much for reading! :)

  1. I'm like you - I haven't gotten into the skull trend either. Just not really my thing. I think you picked the best thing for it, though! A nicely designed scarf where the skulls aren't really obvious :) Oh, and I absolutely love your outfit!
