Floral Ruffle Hem & Silver Accents

Petite Hues Blog, Drop Waist Dress, Faux Leather Motorcycle Jacket, Kate Spade Licorice Pumps, Silver Heels

Hi Everyone! Happy Monday! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. We were blessed with this weekend's weather, it was so nice and warm out which made it perfect for celebrating the new year and watching the Super Bowl with family and friends. Since it is now officially February (January surely flew by in a blink of an eye), we can all begin counting down and look forward to Spring, one of my favorite seasons to wear all things floral and colorful. Today's outfit tackles just that, bringing a little of Spring with this floral dress. It is fun, it is flirty, and it is definitely date night ready if you are already thinking about Valentine's Day. If it happens to be a little colder at night or if you would be doing a lot of walking, I suggest switching out the silver pumps for black tights paired with black wedge booties. You'll be more comfortable, but still look feminine at the same time.

Lunar New Year : Red Aztec Print & Silver Pumps

Hi Everyone! Happy Friday! To those of you who celebrates Lunar New Year, Happy New Year! I came back from a very eventful trip to Boston earlier this week. We had a really tight schedule and the weather was really cold so we weren't able to take photos during our stay. Regardless of the weather conditions, I still had an amazing stay there thanks to our friends in Boston who were awesome tour guides and took care of us. As much as I enjoyed Boston, I have to say, it feels great to be back home to celebrate the new year. The Lunar New Year is probably one of my favorite holidays in the year. It's filled with so much food, happiness, laughter, and love shared amongst the younger ones and the elders. One of our traditions during the Lunar New Year is to wear red. It could be anything red, but wearing red is supposed to bring in luck for the new year.
